Why Maarena Arabians?

Maarena was one of the best mares in her own time. She was born at the Babson Farm but was acquired later by Bentwood Farm where she was bred to Ibn Moniet el Nefous and produced among others Ak Elzahra Moniet and Ak Maalouf pictured above.

Before she was sold, she has been crossed twice with Ibn Fa Serr and produced Serr Mariner and AK Bint Maarena her only SBE gets.

Above Serr Mariner:

Maarena is a daughter of Fabah (Fadl*Bint Bint Sabbah) and Fada ( Faddan*Aaroufa), she is a grand daughter of Bint Saada. Fabah in the picture:

Her full brother is Fadl Dan, of the same silver chestnut color, he was one of the best winning Babson Stallion in Halter.

This mare was exactly the type I was looking for in terms of beauty and functionality. Few horses nowadays traces back to her but the few gets of Serr Mariner are still there and should perpetuate this wonderful heritage.

In memory of her...
