Weekly photograph

In order to get this site more attractive, I have created a new section to show you a weekly photograph of a Straight Babson Horse so you can better understand my passion for this specific line.

I hope you will enjoy these little stories which allow us to have a new perspective of the Big History of the most fabulous horse ever!

Enjoy your horses!

Midbar Fa Rabdan

Here is a stallion I really would like to add in my program. He has now passed away but many of his gets are alive to promote his legacy.

This bay stallion is an Ibn Fa Serr son out of Aroufina. He traces back to Maaroufa and has a high % of the legendary Bint Serra I. He is quite a classical representative of what the BAHF produces. I like the orientation of his neck, his expressive head, and his long legs. I could admire two of his daughters in AZ, Almoraima Alegria and Rabdans Cerraniza. Both bay, both adorable...I really like their conformation and kindness. I had the chance t see laos one of his grand daughter, Raees Rou Rabda, and she was one of my favorite mare in the trip.

This gentleman had few babson gets, as many SO/Heirloom horses, he was in a preservation home late in his life, he ended with Bruce and Diana Johnson fortunately. Hoping that the future will send me a "Midbar Fa Rabdan" suprise!

Saafaddan

This gorgeous black bay stallion born in 1958 was chief stallion for Walter Schimanski. Born at Ms Ott and then sold to Mr Robert E Cowling. He was mainly used at Masada Arabians, producing Masada el Aba, Masada Saafaana and Ibn Saafaddan...This Faddan's son is one of the rare source of Bint Saada blood in the Babson lines.

Roulett

This gorgeous mare was born in 1978 at the Babson Farm. She was by Mahrouf and Roulena, both by Fabah. I discovered her when looking at Roubih's  and Faaris pedigrees and noticed she was just there. I asked Gayle Tyler who once owned her and she sent me dramatic pics of this lady. I immediatly fell in love and recognize the power of this particular dameline tracing back to Maaroufa.

She was a very prolific broodamre, producing 5 Straight Babson mares and 4 SE horses. These five mares produced on their own gorgeous typey individuals and many fillies! Just incredible!

Today I would like to thank Gayle to breed this mare to fantastic Babson stallions such as Mah hab, Amir Ibn FaSerr and Roufas.
